Whittington Statement on the Passing of Dave Treen

Today, Louisiana Democratic Party Chairman Chris Whittington released the following statement on the passing of former Governor and Congressman Dave Treen:
"Dave Treen was a Louisiana gentleman and his party's brightest star. Dave understood that partisan politics should stop at the waters edge, a rare quality by today's standards, and one of the reasons he will be missed. I will keep the Treen family in my thoughts and prayers."
