LOUISIANA DEMOCRATIC PARTY RELEASES DELEGATE SELECTION PLAN FOR 2008 NATIONAL CONVENTION

BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Democratic Party has released its Delegate Selection Plan for the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

The Selection Plan will be presented to the Democratic State Central Committee for approval at its April 28 meeting. Louisiana has a total of 68 delegates and nine alternates.

The 2008 Democratic National Convention is set for Aug. 25-28 in Denver.
